Research has shown that the developing world benefits from having micro finance programs to benefit individuals looking to start and/or sustain small businesses in their communities.
We are committed to providing no-interest loans to individuals with interest in starting or expanding their small businesses. TWPF would like to establish cohorts of about 5 individuals in the community. These cohorts will be associated with a mentor/coordinator/accountability partner who would work closely with the cohort within a year to set up and sustain their small businesses. The mentor/coordinator/accountability partner will review and assess the program for progress/success.
At the end of the year, the cohort will pay this loan forward by transferring funds to a new cohort of 5 individuals. TWPF will provide the initial N50,000 to each of the individuals within the cohort. A personal statement will be required as well as various records and other necessary information to help make the determination of eligibility.
